Sonia Chaabane

Postdoctoral researcher / CEREGE

I am a postdoctoral researcher currently affiliated with CEREGE, having previously held same positions at FRB-CESAB and the Max Planck Institute for Geochemistry. My research focuses on the modern ecology and diversity of planktons, with a particular emphasis on planktonic Foraminifera. My work delves into understanding the present and future impacts of climate change on their distribution across the Global Ocean.
My expertise is rooted in comprehensive data synthesis and analyses, exemplified by my involvement in projects like the FORCIS database. Through these experiences, I have honed my skills in deciphering intricate ecological patterns and discerning the implications of climate changes on plankton communities.
I am passionate about contributing to the advancement of knowledge in this field and welcome opportunities for collaboration and further exploration of the intricate relationships within marine ecosystems. If there are specific aspects of my work or expertise that align with your interests or if you have any collaborative ideas, I would be delighted to discuss them further.
