I'm Olivier, a research scientist working for the CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) and based at the CEREGE. I have a PhD in aquatic geochemistry from McGill University, in Canada. I then moved to the Netherlands, to work at Utrecht University as a research associate. I am now back to France, work in Aix-en-Provence, where I am from, and live in Marseille. Besides doing research, my job is also to be an educator, to give younger generations the tools to build a more sustainable future. I am also an editor for two scientific journals, Communications Earth and Environment and Biogeosciences, and am actively involved in the emerging field of climate interventions. In my spare time, I enjoy playing bass, dancing, and cooking.
